Write a letter of support for Republic Skatepark & win a skateboard

The Republic Skatepark Committee is collecting letters of support to include in a grant application for a proposed skatepark. To encourage community involvement, the committee is holding a letter writing campaign and selecting two grand prize winners to receive free skateboards.

Kids 18 and under can write a letter of support and be eligible to win. Two winners will each receive a Montana Pool Service skateboard, donated by Jeff Ament, bass player for Pearl Jam. The packages include helmets and other gear, courtesy of Black Market Skates.

Requirements:

• The letter should explain why you want a skatepark in our community.
• Everyone is encouraged to submit a letter, but only kids 18 and under are eligible for a prize.
• Letters must be received by May 28, and must include a name, age, and e-mail address or phone number.

How to submit:

Participants may drop letters off at Harding’s Hardware in Republic, or mail submissions to:
